Inception of RK foundations
R. K Foundations, formerly known as HM Groups, has a rich history dating back to 1980 when it laid the foundation for its first educational institution in Jammu & Kashmir. The organization initially focused on engineering and technical education in the country. Over the years, it expanded its services to include skill training and consulting.
In addition to its educational initiatives, R. K Foundations has diversified its interests, particularly in the areas of research and development. The organization is dedicated to promoting activities in various sectors, including Agro/Farm-Tourism, Sports, Cultural, and Heritage, with the aim of contributing to the growth and development of the nation.
In 2021, the conglomerate was renamed R. K Foundations in honor of its founder chairman, Late Dr. P.R. Radhakrishnan, who was not only an educationalist but also a philanthropist and a respected social figure. The organization takes great pride in his tireless efforts and noble vision, and it remains grateful for the opportunities it has to make a positive impact on society through his legacy.
